LifeStar Response of Maryland

LifeStar Response Corporation of Maryland was established in 1998 through the consolidation of Advanced Care Ambulance, Huntemann Ambulance and Maryland Ambulance services. Locally, LifeStar Response provides a full range of medical transportation services to residents of Metropolitan Baltimore, Central Maryland, Metropolitan Washington and Northern Virginia.

Our services portfolio includes

Ambulance Services:

We provide the full spectrum of ambulance services including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Specialty Care Transports (SCT). Our fully equipped and modern fleet meets or exceeds applicable industry and regulatory standards. We are licensed to provide services in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia. Units are staffed by state certified Emergency Medical Technicians, Nationally Registered Paramedics and Registered Nurses.

Wheelchair Van Services:

We provide premium wheelchair service for clients that require assisted transportation but do not require an ambulance. Our trained and courteous staff assists clients at the point of pick up and conveys them safely to their destination. Our wheelchair van fleet is comprised of late model, lift equipped vans.
