SERVICES

LifeStar’s ambulance and medical transportation services include basic and advanced life support (BLS and ALS) and specialty care transports (SCT). LifeStar provides emergency (911) and non-emergency medical transportation services to support the transportation needs of public and private sector emergency and non-emergency care participants.

LifeStar is currently licensed to provide these services in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Alabama and Georgia. State certified emergency medical technicians, nationally registered or state certified paramedics and registered nurses staff the ambulance units. A medical director manages quality assurance and continuing medical education. There is a wheelchair-van service for clients who require assisted transportation but not an ambulance. The fully-equipped fleet meets applicable industry and regulatory standards and is maintained in accordance with industry guidelines and replaced and updated regularly.
